个人简介：
徐星，博士毕业于中国科学院，教授、博士生导师。主要从事中生代陆相脊椎动物化石及地层学研究，为推进恐龙古生物学发展做出了系统性和原创性的贡献，发表论文300余篇。成果被国内外中学、大学权威生物学和古生物学教科书引用和介绍，3次入选中国基础科学研究十大新闻，3次中国十大科技进展，1次美国Time（时代周刊）年度世界十大科学发现和1次美国Science年度十大科学突破。2001年获得国家杰出青年基金，2014年入选万人计划领军人才，入选2019-2022年度美国斯坦福大学全球前2%顶尖科学家榜单。2009年当选英国伦敦地质学会终身荣誉会员，两次荣获中科院杰出科学成就奖（2003年集体、2014年个人），获2007年度国家自然科学二等奖和中国青年科技奖，2020年获全国创新争先奖状和英国古生物学会理事长奖章，2022年获发展中国家科学院地球、天文学和空间科学奖。科普文章“飞向蓝天的恐龙”选入人民教育出版社出版的《小学语文》四年级课文。
